A Note to Everyone Who Entered

Thank you. This was a fun contest! (For me, anyway.) Please do not be discouraged if you are not among the winners this time. There were many entries that were highly original and/or beautifully written--but deserved to be part of a much bigger tale. Unfortunately, the contest called for a 250-word story that could stand on its own. Next time, maybe we'll ask for longer stories. You guys certainly have the talent--all I need is more time to read!!

Kirsten

PS: I was totally serious about the rules for voting! ONLY blog regulars, please!

Thanks so much for doing the contest! It was a lot of fun writing & checking the updates. (The Reader's Choice was a great idea.) It would be awesome if there were more contests soon!

I do have a question: Who was the guest judge?

I liked entering the competition, I thought it was fun :) It was a little out of my league though. I'm just an rookie at writing, plus I'm only in sixth grade ;D Fun all the same, though! :)

All the stories that won were really good. Thanks for having the contest! It was good to have a time limit to write, make me actually do it and not just think about it. Who ever wrote the yeti one was very imaginative, that was pretty great.
