Wanna Be a Peeping Tom?

I love this. Artist Ryuji Nakamura created a tiny house (with furniture!) that fits over the built-in camera on a laptop computer. Snap a photo of yourself, and you look like a giant peeping tom. How hard would it be to make something similar? (Probably far more difficult than I imagine.)

More pictures here.

I agree with you, Violet, one of those would be pretty cool to video chat with.
As for the spider-or-mosquito thing, well, that depends. I usually don't get bitten by bugs, so the mosquitos might ignore me and go for my delicious brother instead. But if I did get mobbed by mosquitos, I would completely freak out. On the other hand, I don't really mind spiders, so if that spider would stay out of sight most of the time and wouldn't bite me or crawl on me, I'd be fine with it. And I'd probably get used to the sock smell. Eventually.
And that blanket octopus is amazing, but if I saw one, I'd freak out. Probably not as much as I would with the mosquitos, but still. Than I'd wish I had a camera, and be disappointed. Especially so because I have a camera that can take underwater pictures and video, and I would have missed an amazing opportunity.

Oh, wow, that was a long comment
