Kirsten's Travel Schedule

(Above: Kirsten on a good day.)

I rather enjoy referring to myself in the third person.

Please come see me on the Breathless Books Tour! And if you aren't interested in seeing me, please come see the four fabulous authors with whom I'll be traveling! (Yeah, that's right. Five authors traveling together. It's going to be non-stop debauchery.)

Ally Condie (Matched)
Andrea Cremer (Nightshade)
Brenna Yovanoff (The Replacement)
Beth Revis (Across the Universe)

If you want to know more about these authors, the first three have been interviewed right here on this blog. And all three books were reviewed last year, by ME! I'm looking forward to reading the fourth book soon. I've heard it's awesome.

Awwwwww...I really want to go! The closest thing to us is a 4 and a half hour drive away, so my parents refuse to take me. =(

Dear Kirsten,
Since I do not live in any of the cities that you are visiting I cannot see you. :( But I do have the nicest grandma in the world who lives in New York City so I am going to ask her to go to the book store where you are appearing so you can sign a Kiki Strike book for me! So that is my amazing plan. If that doesn't work I have cousins in Denver. I can't wait! I hope my grandma says yes.

Dear Kirsten,
You won't believe it my grandma said she will come to your visit at Books of Wonder in New York City. I can't wait. If you see a lady who is really skinny super nice and awesome and has really blonde hair that's my grandma.
From,
Rachel

I can hear the news reports now:

"Newsflash: Downtown [insert city name here] overflowing with teenage girls in black jumpsuits! Film at 11!"

Robert in San Diego, reading dangerously at the moment.

Robert in San Diego-- I'll be sure to tell you all the craziness that goes down at the Tattered Cover. xD No doubt it will be incredible.

If only you were going somewhere over spring break.

So not fair! You should come to Houston, Texas. 4 of the 5 authors have written some of my favorite books! I'm now in metaphorical agony at the unfairness of it all.

If you ever have the option, please come to seattle. That would be really cool :) Have fun on tour, I love the replacements.

The writers of two of my favorite books in one tour, and I get to meet neither of them!!! Oh, to live in the least interesting state in America.
I hope you visit the good ol' southern-Midwest eventually, so I can come meet you!
Hitch-hiking would be well worth it...

Robert in San Diego: The Tattered Cover appearance was AMAZING. Quite possibly the highlight of my partially-lived life. Kirsten was fabulous, as were the other four authors. I now have a signed copy of The Eternal Ones, which is sure to become quite battered within the month, and a signed tour poster to hang on my already cluttered walls.

My favorite quote of the night: "It's my personal opinion that at some point every woman will feel drawn towards a man who might be trying to kill them." This is why Kirsten is my favorite author--two minutes after she said that, I had half of a short story, the beginnings of a novel, and a strong urge to whip out my pen and scribble all three on my arm for future reference. xD

And, I got a chance to show off my Killer Squirrels t-shirt from the Kiki Strike store. Huge bonus. xD
