As a student, industrial designer Kaylene Kau was asked to design a prosthetic limb. Her inspiration came from a rather unexpected source. But her creation is simple, elegant, and extremely functional.
cool. . . .if i lost an arm, i would love to have that as a replacement. also, yes, we do need a new poe toaster. have you read his poem "the bells"? its better if you read it aloud to yourself, and it's one of my favorite poems ever. maybe it's just me, but i noticed it had a sort of rythm or tune to it, and when i was reading it i was singing more than reading. but yeah, that's cool. it looks like a tentacle! :)
Hazel: another career part minus the health/medicine aspect is product design engineering. It's a mix between industrial design and normal engineering :)

Reminds me of an Octopus...
Thank you; you just decided my career for me. I'm becoming a bio-medical engineer.
Pure genius! OoO

That would be an awesome alternative if you ever needed a replacement arm. Neat idea!

Cool, but you'd get some odd looks.
