Come See Me!

I will be traveling a bit in February, making stops in MN, CO, UT, and NC. (The schedule will be posted here soon.) But the first stop on the Breathless Book Tour (as they're calling it) will be right here in NYC.

Authors Ally Condie, Andrea Cremer, Brenna Yovanoff, and Beth Revis will be joining me at the fabulous Books of Wonder book store (18th St. between 5th and 6th Avenues) at 6pm on February 9th!

More later, but mark your calendars now!

I would if I could. Sadly I can't drive (legally) and I don't have a car I could barrow (legally).
And it looks like your not visiting where I live, either, so that would involve me running away in the darkness of night! *Spooky music*
I could do it, but I do not have an exactly impressive array of criminal skills to get away with it.
I'll just wait instead. :)

I agree with Rachel, it would be awesome if you could come to Chicago, or somewhere in Wisconsin, like Milwaukee or Madison. I really want to see you!

:( I wish you could come to Australia. Unfortunatly, it is a REALLY long and time-consuming trip. Maybe I could bribe my parents, but don't think they'd give in.

But I will meet you someday (whether I have to run away or sell our house and buy one in New York without my parents knowing- ah, screw it.), if it's the last thing I do.

Toodles: I agree with you!

Come to Australia Kirsten, why should the US get all the fun (literary wise, especially with author events)?

I'm agreeing with the Awesome Tree-Loving Grim Reaper here. The Left Coast needs some book tour, too.

After what Toodles and Ju L. wrote, and what I'm sure Deepasm would write if she were commenting, I feel a little silly complaining about no Kirsten in the Golden State. Let me check the Amtrak (train)schedules for Denver, CO.

@ Toodles and Brave Chickens: Ah, but the Aussies have John Flanagan. And Melissa Hall and Brian something.

Recently read a book about a chemist / inventor / reluctant detective who reminds me eerily of both Luz and DeeDee. Oh and his sidekick eerily resembles (and acts like) Iris, but with Oona's talents. Poor detective is so logical and rational, but like Indiana Jones, he keeps getting unwillingly sucked into adventures with a supernatural twist. If you like Kirsten's work, you'll like the Horatio Lyle books, even if they star a guy.
