The Chinese Kiki Strike!

Over the holidays, I received a package from my Chinese publisher with copies of Kiki Strike and The Empress's Tomb (which were published simultaneously over there). I gotta say, of all the foreign editions, these may be my favorites. They are FILLED with amazing illustrations. (One shown above. I'll try to post more, but I'm having some trouble.) I know there are a few blog readers out there who speak Chinese (or whose parents would like them to speak Chinese). So I would be thrilled to mail copies of both books to the first person who sends me a note at kikistrike@gmail.com.

UPDATE: Wow, that was fast! I had a half dozen emails in about 2 minutes! I'll be in touch with you guys. But I'm afraid the books are all gone now!

For the blog you could also try to add some colors to the page. Maybe light or medium colors so we won't get distracted
Thanks

Hehehehe. I think I've found my new screen saver. I like this one even better then the older Russian cover, I must admit.
Although Kiki on the front of the American version is almost exactly how I imagine her.

As for me, it doesn't fit the book at all…

If the problem is computer-related, I'll be glad to help resolve it =)

deepasm: Oh yeah I have seen it! It's not as cool as it could be :/ I mean you know Japanese always come up with the weirdest stuff and always have awesome art, so I thought it would be amazing.

Deepasm: once again, coming to my rescue! Thank you! Unfortunately, my terrible Internet connection is responsible. I should have it fixed soon.

Bad Internet connection in the heart of N.Y.C.?!
Wow.
My logic fails me =)

Well actually it's my wireless airport, which is very temperamental and needs to be replaced. But everyone in New York hates the company that provides my Internet, so I'm sure they share some responsibility for making uploads unbearable. Sorry tmi.

It would be Impressionant if there was a graphic novel series.

BTW: can't wait for Darkness Dwellers!
