Ferocious Faeries

Artist Tessa Farmer uses insect carcasses, roots, skeletons, and other nasty bits and pieces to create miniature creatures that she calls "fairies." But these wee beasties aren't likely to grant wishes or sprinkle fairy dust. Instead, they're savages who seem bent on torturing the insects of the world.

why why why must you always gross me out? here's a little story for you: to help you sleep better at night, i'm going to tell you a little story. once upon a time there was aspider. he was teased for being so HUMUNGOUS. so he escaped and took refuge behind ananka's pillow. he met a spider lady and from them sprang hundreds, no, thousands of all manner of insects. they terrorize your house. that weird sound at nite is them, taunting you.
i love you so much ananka, i thought i'd tell you this story. don't be angry.i wrote it out of love!
ps- u eat at least 8 spiders in your lifetime:)

I looked up once if you eat spiders in your sleep, but the site I found said the chances are you won't swallow spiders in your sleep because the spiders have enough sense and don't enter anything that is warm and breathing (AKA: Your mouth.)

You made up that disgusting little story just for me? Now I really am touched! (I love that he was teased for being so HUMONGOUS.)

What's that about eating eight spiders? I've eaten hundreds. In fact, I'm eating one now!
