Now you can insult your enemies and impress your English Lit teachers at the same time. All you have to do is consult this handy "Shakespeare Insult Kit!" (From blameitonthevoices.) Just make sure you know what the terms mean first. And if you get yourself in trouble, keep me out of it!

I'm SO glad these weren't widely available back when I was in Junior High School. I and my English teachers did NOT get along.
Robert in San Diego
I'm gonna use these on the next person who steriotypes me because I read comics.
OMG my English teacher gave us this last year and we were supposed to make up random combinations and insult people and then she called on a few people to make up one. The first person she called on the teacher was like "Who are you going to insult" and the girl was like "YOU!" Lol it was so hilarious she called the teacher a dankish elf-skinned flap-dragon XDDD
hahahaha!!
my english teacher showed me this when we were studying Romeo and Juliet.
my english teacher was going to show us these, but then decided they were "too mean" so she gave us compliments instead :P
Haha I love this! My drama teacher gave this to us last year and we got to make up our on phrase and we had debates! It was so much fun! I <3 Mrs. Spadaro!!!!!!!!!!
Okay when is the kiki strike news coming out??? I've been tracking this blog obsessively because I thought it would be sometime around the beginning of the year because of that last post and there's been NOTHING for 5 years, the 3rd book is coming out in a year, and the "special thing planned" for the books still hasn't been done or talked about on the blog in a non vague way. I love the books and this is really frustrating, at least tell us what kiki strike and co. "refuse to wait another year" for? I love the series and I want to read more than 2 books about them!!! At least tell us the date for the next Kiki Strike thing.
Sorry, end of rant I just really like the books. A loooot. Sorry for being a jerk. Funny post
Kirsten Miller, your blog is the most distracting yet educational place I have ever been to. XD
My English teacher would love this. The best English insult our class would think of is "Your mother's a noun!" ):
@ofir12345: This question has been asked an infinite amount of times. It's coming out next year...
I love this! My theatre teacher gave this to us, and we did an excercise where we had to call each other insults, and right then , our vice principal came in ! it was really funny!
I discovered these some years ago and a close friend of mine & I still use them to this day! Birthday cards, emails and invitations have been addressed to: my beloved hedgepig, dearest footlicker, and, of course, crusty barnacle.
