Things Can Get Weird When You Start Paying Attention

I love this. A comic book writer/reader recently noticed something rather . . . odd. The same two police officers have been showing up in countless comic books for years. (Spiderman, Superman, Iron Man, and more.) One of the guys is a redhead with a goatee. The other is dark-haired with sideburns. The comic books in question have different writers and illustrators. They even come from rival companies!

Who are these mystery men? Who's behind this conspiracy!!!???

More here. Thank you, Scott Snyder for making my world just a little more interesting.

i really haven't been on here in a while. when i saw the new about the darkness dwellers, i screamed-well, on the inside. literal screaming is something i only do on huuuuuuuge rollercoasters and also if i'm being tickled. and as for the supermoon post, when i saw the title of the post, i was like omg! (please forgive my use of text abbreviations/valspeak, it's kind of involuntary.) because it looked like it said superman tonight-like the bon jovi song. and i love bon jovi and love that song, haha. then i noticed the two o's.
also, the commercial thing, with the words? going by that only, i'm surprised my younger self didn't borrow my brother's toys more often. but i guess little be wasn't totally girly-i had toy trains instead of baby dolls, loved dinosaurs, and my favorite princess was fiona from shrek. honestly, i have never understood why somebody would want a baby doll. . . .

The police are supernatural beings that show up in every comic to plant sublimial messages into our thoughts.
Or not. Either way, it would make a great novel.

Obviously it is a conspiracy to take over the world by luring us into trusting men with these particular features. : )
