I love it! As a knitter and a Kirsten Miller fan, I love yarn bombings of everything! DFTBA (AS John Green says, Don't Forget To Be Awesome).

That's really cool, very creative.

So cool! How would you get those on the fence? Would you have to make them on there?

Cookie Monster: Yarn bombings. Love the terminology, dear. xD I think we knitters should all aspire to "yarn bomb" more often. Brighten's up the world.

That made me laugh. Out of pure awesomeness.

As a crocheter, I have to say this is pretty darn cool.

I once read an old army manual on field fortifications. It had instructions on how to use a round loom to weave regular barbed wire into "concertina" -- tougher to get across than a simple coil and better able to resist artillary fire than a standard fence. The stuff in the picture isn't standard wire. It is ribbon wire or razor wire. Sometimes I wonder about the need to put so much thought and effort into nasty stuff. Wouldn't it be better spent on schools?

Of course I also remember my old school had twelve foot tall fences topped with barbed wire. SIGH.
