I love this blog, which I found quite by accident looking for antikamnia stuff. In turn, I learned about the books, which my daughter loved! Will you ever be posting on twitter? I link a lot of your groovy stuff there.

Yesterday was my birthday, and my friend Cassie (founder of the Culver City Irregulars) gave me the Betty Bent bookmark you signed...my word, I was so shocked! I honestly could not believe my eyes, in fact I was so surprised I acted quite un-dangerous = ]. Astonishing how happy a bookmark can make a person.
Thank you so much for writing the Kiki Strike books, not only are they entertaining and hilarious, but also quite substantial in the knowledge and skills department. Also this blog is fantastic for those of us who like random and peculiar stories that have actually happened...ya just have to dig it.
Anyhow, you (and Cassie) are one of the things that made turning 15 much more bearable, because of that super gift. By the way, I like your penmanship.

also....for vomit-inducing, you sould watch animal planet. on one episode of a show called weird true and freaky the stories were about freaky things found in food i only saw 6 and 7 because its a countdown and i got grossed out. number 7 was in asia. a woman sat down with a bowl of crackers and found a FRIED RAT HEAD. and that wasnt even in the top 3. 6 was this guy who found a bunch of bug larvae in his protein bar, but it was live. ew! i turned it off after that.
i hope i never open up a bag of chips and find a centipede.
i would die of fright, no joke.
