Songs from My Youth

This is how I came to hunt alligators for a living. Cute, but it would have been better with more butt kicking.

Question: Do you think this message is still important? Or is this old news to girls these days?

Hehe, I loved the Muppets when I was little. Was this post brought to us by the letter U and the number 7, by any chance? :)

We can also be latin robots that will one day take over the world. (I'm not lying. My friend was that for halloween. Yes, she is a total physco.)

"Margret, tell 'em about the cat." I had to stop the video I was laughing so hard.

I think that the message still applies to girls growing up now, because there still are sexists in the world (drat them).Of course, it's not totally needed like it used to be, but I think that we should still drill the message into little four and five year olds' heads.

Kudos to whoever decided to write/make/film that song! It was a great music vid!

old news I think... just a little though.
These days, it's directed more at little boys who think that a girl can't be a fireman or something... and then we move on.

i should show that to the guys in my gym class. even though they know i'm good at most sports (not football) they still don't pass to me. they must think i have no legs or something.

people in my school are just sick. You can not believe how many times the conversation went like this:
Boys: Where's lunch? We're starved
Me: Sorry, I don't cook garbage
Boys:We don't eat garbage! When pigs fly!
Me:You fly?
(You think they would grow up)

I think that all the GIRLS know, but the idiot GUYS who still think girls should stay at home and do the cleaning while the big, strong men go out hunting for dinner need to see this.

Heh heh this brings back fond memories of whopping some boy butts..... xP the boys in my neighborhood DEFINETELY don't think that anymore. They even let me play football with them, and they had to get their biggest/oldest/strongest guy to tackle me. *sigh* good times.
