The Mystery of Track 61

Underneath the luxurious Waldorf Astoria Hotel in midtown Manhattan lies a mysterious train station. Few people have seen it, and even fewer know why it was built--or who once rode in the private train car that still sits on the tracks.

Who was powerful enough to have a secret train station built beneath one of the fanciest hotels in the world? And why did he need his own private car?

Find out below . . .

I havn't yet seen the video, but when I viseted NYC I stayed there! I can't believe I didn't think to check under the building (this was before I read Kiki Strike) I wish I had though! It would've been awesome!

And as for being the fanciest, the lobby was nice, but the rooms were the same as any other hotel, just a tinsy bit nicer. AND the fire alarm went off at 5:30 AM. Yes, in the morning. It was terrible. And just as we all hustled our tired butts down to the lobby, it was anounced that it was a false alarm Arg.
