Whatever You Do, Don't Flush That Spider!
This week, while everyone was freaking out about the swine flu, I had bigger fears to face. What's scarier than swine flu, you ask? ZOMBIE SPIDERS.
I can't tell you how many times I've disposed of spiders in the toilet. Now I learn that those creepy little arachnids could have returned from the dead to seek their revenge! The horror!
Scientists have discovered that some spider species are "resistant to drowning." What does this mean? It means they can spend up to 36 hours underwater, looking completely lifeless. But let them dry off and a few hours later they're twitching back to life!
This is the stuff of nightmares, people. Zombie spiders crawling out of the toilet and taking their revenge on one's most private parts. Eeeek! It's worse than having to ride the subway during a flu epidemic!

I wish *I* were like that!
Uh-oh. does that mean what i think it means? if you'll excuse me...
ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew!!!!! i hate spiders!!! that is like soooo gross and disturbing!! i swear, one day when us humans are all dead and gone, spiders will rule the world right beside cockroaches and rats. ~Chanel~
Oh, that is so horrible! Awesome spider, not awesome that it's living in my toilet. :p
everybody in my town is freaking out about the flu epidemic since a lot of our parents/relatives commute to the city and Queens. But forget that! this is insane!
AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ZOMBIE SPIDERS!!!!!!!! THAT IS EVIL. I don't like aracnids... if you didn't notice.
hey irregular kiki how did thing go with your cat? i love cats, they are my favorite animal!!!!!
I wouldn't call it an epidemic...at least yet.
my family and i were shocked about the whole swine flu. i can't believe it came from a pig. luckily i don't eat pork. but the Department of Health said it might come into my state!!!!AWWWWWWWWW!! *runs and hides in far corner of room, away from spiders and evil flues*

I swear, this is like "when zombies attack" all over again.
And that's why crushing is the best way to go when faced with an eight-legged intruder. I never flush spiders, unless they're already squished to death and the toilet is just the most convenient mode of disposal.
CRAP! I always flush them down! I hope they can't un-squish themselves aswell? THIS IS MY WORST NIGHTMARE! First creepy crawlies.... NOW ZOMBIE creepy crawlies! back for revenge! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! Oh no oh no oh no I hope they don't come back! My bedroom is next door to the bathroom!
Irregulars: ALWAYS squish the creature before flushing!
One morning, I found this huge spider in the kitchen sink and I tried to wash it down the drain, but when I'd turn on the water it'd just pull in its legs and float on the surface. I finally gave up on drowning and smashed it with a cereal bowl. Yick. I hate spiders.
Ewww! But what'll happen if you flush it down the sink? Oo' I don't wanna know...
wow, maybe the swine flu will wipe out all of the spiders...xD nah, spiders are too tough for that, especially if they can "drown" and them come back to life and become zombielicious!!!
I was having a sleepover w/ my friends and we saw a big black spider and one of my friends completely drowned it in wasp killer. It obviously had no affect since it was a spider rather than a wasp and (of course) now it was a zombie... which is much worse, I can tell you! So eventually we smashed it with a cardboard brick (YES I said a CARDBOARD BRICK, so end of story. And don't ask why we have them it's a long story. Lol.) So anyway, it was now a crushed drowned dead zombie spider on the floor. *Shudders* yuck yuck yuck yuck YUCK!!!!!!!!
Really now, Ananka, I'd think you above things like the swine flu scare. I mean, garden-variety flu has killed about three hundred times as many people as the swine flu this year.
I usually pick up the spider (with my hands. Oooh yeah. ;)) Then make it a home outside. I have no fear of spiders. :) Swine flu isn't as dangerous (in america) as people think. It just spreads very, very, very quickly. And it's already weakening. The thing I'm really afraid of: being quarantined. Being held captive, disabled, or in any other way NOT free, freaks me out. IDK. I'm not claustrophobic at all, but being held against my will creeps me out.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!! I HATE SPIDERES!!!!!!!!!! i had a nightmere that a spider came back from the dead once....now it's coming true??????whats next man eating lady bugs?????(yes if you are wondering i had that dream oce...)
