While We're on the Subject of Portraits
I recently came across the work of artist Travis Louie. At first, many of his paintings resemble old fashioned portraits. But take a closer look, and you'll realize that nothing's quite what it seems.
I particularly like the stories that Louie composes for each of his portraits. The Vamp (shown above) "calls herself Eva, . . .she has been around since the 1820's. Originally known as Margaret McCambridge, she left Scotland after numerous reports of missing persons began to spread across the countryside. She reappeared some years later in New York sometime during the Civil War."
See more of Travis Louie's portraits here.

I love these.
hoollyyy...
Haha, I'm going to have nightmares now.
Oh, by the way, I found an awesome recipe for a simple stink bomb. (Nothing is as effective as DeeDee's, though.) It's made with ammonium sulfide: basically, you take fifty match heads, mix it in a (TIGHT!) glass jar with half a cup of ammonia (I think household ammonia works), shake it for 30 seconds, and leave it for about a week. The sulfur from the matches bonds with the ammonia, and it's supposed to smell like rotten eggs...I'm planning on making some! Mwahahaha. :)
By the way, on the Kiki Strike website, what does it mean when it says "you're in kid?"
I am suprised that Jim Lumpy Phelps isn't your favorite because he is a rat catcher. But I can understand why Eva is you favorite.
I like Miss Bunny (especially the ears) and Rooty the most.
