Took a little walk around my Brooklyn neighborhood this morning. It wasn't pretty. Sandy did some serious damage here--but it sounds like she really gave the other boroughs a beating. I hope everyone is safe. And I hope your power and water is restored soon. Good luck, New York!

Great to know you're okay. When I heard it was to hit Brooklyn I was so concerned. Hope everyone's safe...
I've seen tree-limb-crushed cars before, in person. About twenty years ago. It's scarier where you see a limb fallen where an occupied car could have been.
Enjoy the cleanup!

I heard on TV that the NYC subway has had the worst disaster ever with all the salt water rusting away everything. I hope that can be fixed soon! And at least we both still have power, which is better than a lot of the east coast. :)
I am happy you are okay. I am glad that things are slowing down!
Best,
Rachel

So happy that you're great. I hope everyone in NY and New England is safe and alright.
When I first heard about the hurricane, I thought "I wonder if Kirsten Miller is going to post something about this on her blog."
You should see my neighborhood! >.< some of my friends still don't have power. Luckily we didn't get any bad flooding like last year though we did have no school for two weeks. Darn you Kevin!
