i got 18 out of 20. i went by eyes, if they didnt change much, i figured it was fake.
Anonymous: Yes, the test measures empathy. But a good detective can recognize people's emotions and understand their motivations. I would imagine being able to spot a fake smile might come in handy when interviewing suspects or witnesses.
17 out of 20. Hehe. The giveaway is totally in the eyes. Also, whether or not someone continues smiling after they smile, or whether they just go to a poker face. I missed smiles 1, 4, and 9. :P Fun test! Thanks for the link!
I'm back!!! I've missed you all so much! I had to leave for a while, and then was afraid that I would have missed some huge experience and I would seem like I was imposing on your little party. But I got over that, so here I am.
By the way, I got seven wrong. I think I was to suspicious that they were being filmed, until I realized they could have just listened to a joke.

Thirteen. I went mostly by how happy the eyes looked.
I got 10/20 which is an EPIC FAIL. Haha...

I'm not sure this test can pinpoint any "detective skills". It's more about general empathy, IMHO.
