Artist Jan Vormann recently visited New York and decided to fix up the place. He and his crew of random kids and passersby filled the city's cracks, crevasses, and assorted holes with Legos. (See more pics
here.
Thanks, Jan. You're welcome back any time.

Awesome. Kids who play with Legos are smarter when they're older than those who don't. And kids who play with Legos when they're older are awesome.
AH YES!!
I'd heard about this guy before and was so jealous but now he's finally come to the greatest city on earth. heh.
Do you know what buildings he's hit?
I believe that bottom picture is the NYPL at 42nd St., right?
I wonder what would happen if I did that to the post office in my town . . .
Oh my gosh i wish i lived in nyc so i could go there and see that. But alas, i live in a small, crappy town (that will not be mentioned here) that doesn't have awesome artists that repair old post offices. sniffle sniffle

P.S. I might be wrong, but the books are East by Edith Pattou and the one that's a copy cat Ice by Sarah Beth Durst if any of you want to check there you go.
Cool!
Maybe she could come here? (And fix the drivers, while she's at it.)
