Made in China

I'm not sure what the story is behind these fabulous Chinese beasties. But how do I go about getting one?!? More here.

I WILL get one of these things. (Just to freak out my neighbors. They will be screaming the whole night. "Ahh! It's an alien!" Ha! I enjoy the idea. I smile.

I was able to get google to translate the site so it's easier to navigate. This site turns out to be some Japanese museum of fantastic specimen (fake, but still very realistic and well done) and there are even more odd creatures to check out: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://sow.ggnet.co.jp/&ei=fu2qSYufMIG4twfti9XYDw&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=1&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dhttp://sow.ggnet.co.jp/%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG

The second one looks like Man-Bat from Batman. They're kind of creepy.

I speak a little Chinese, but my mom is fluent- she grew up in Taiwan. Translated, it's talking about a museum full of those creatures and the exhibits in them.

I'd love to visit that museum!

You know what this reminds me of? January 13th's edition of "What is it?". Ahh! Attack of the bat fairies!
