An Album of Ghostly Images

As often happens, the moment I post on a topic, I stumble across more juicy information on the very same subject. For instance, this morning I discovered a website that recently asked readers to send in their own "ghost" photographs. The website received over 250 images from around the world. The ten best are now posted here.

The top prize went to the photo shown above, which was taken at Tantallon Castle in Scotland.

Creepy!

Dear Lioness & Anonymous,

I took time off from the series to write a book that isn't about Kiki. That book will be out next year. Hopefully, Kiki #3 will be out before that. But I don't know the exact date. Sorry about that, but it's not completely up to me!

Kirsten

These photos are very creepy! I wish there was some explanation, it's just so interesting!

People: I think we should be patient with Kiki #3. It takes time to write a book that good.

now, advice to those people who will pratically jump on Kirsten miller's back, attack her with a club, and make her sing kareoke to a monkey so she will give more info on kiki 3:
1. Jump out of a window. You'll have to go to the hospital if it's high, and before you know it, it'll be out!
2. Bow down at my awesomeness
3. Refer to the class clown as 'Arty'
4. You meet someone named Jhsjkfghlrthghvflnuh gjhhnflk hnlghjfnhbghjn. When they ask for a nickname, call them 'bob'.
5. Make kiki strike banners or something. I would get a hoot outta that
6. Make a kiki strike theme song (I will pay for that)
7. learn how to contact ghosts
8. become a wiccan (I'm half wiccan. Awesomeness. And i don't have to go to church! Bonus!)
9. Spy on the mailman all day until you realize it's the old grsndma down the block
10. sleep walk into an abandoned area. You wake up finding out it's the irregular's hideout.
11. Do some research on pale elfs
12. Look for albino peacocks online (they are so pretty! i just want one as a pillow! ir'll be so cute and fluffy and poofy! And I will bring it to school so it can bite random people
13. Dn't tip at a high resturant. When they ask why, say that you're from a foreign country, and it's considered an insult to tip there. (As in leaving a five dollar bill means 'you suck! Here's $5! get yourself a haircut!)
14. Purchase a yodeling cucumber
15. dress up like kiki strike for halloween (very, very hard. Almost arrested. Don't do this at home)
16. Get a red marker and draw on someone's neck
17. listen to good music
18. Slap your perverted neighbor and say very not nice things
19. Make a kiki strike action figure (I would, but i suck at making things. The most convincing thing i ever made was a mess)
20. kick some bad guy butt and pretend you're kiki strike. Then, laugh victoriously at the adrenaline rush

Krazy. Kreepy.
Kirsten, ooooooooooo a-non-kiki-book? Sounds intruging. But I won't ask because dakota said not to.

D.Blue I LOVE how you think!

Kirsten, though I agree with lioness. WE ARE DYING HERE. ive read both books three times each.

Be patient about the book! We all know it takes time to create masterpieces (otherwise they wouldn't be so excellent).

Those ghost pictures were so real! I clicked on the site link and it directed me to the other pictures. Skeptics had excuses like light patterns, overexposure, and disformed everyday objects- but I disagree. How often do you see a skull light trick, or a stick that looks like a detailed ghostly figure from Victorian times?

Creepy. Exciting.

mccincol said...

Oh! And guess what? I just opened AOL and the exact same picture that's on the diary was there! It's featured under the top news for today.

Important discoveries!

OK sorry Kirsten... didn't mean to pressure u. Can't wait! Anonymous- Pride and prejudice and zombies is a book i'm pretty sure my mom would never let me read... i referred 2 it because Kirsten posted about it on jan 27 (check it out) and it looked really cool.

I think number 7 should have won. The ghost in the water washing its feet? Yeah. Creepy. AHHH! Unless its a hoax and someone actually WAS washing his feet. But if it was on the site, i doubt it. =D

Anonymous said...

oh okay lioness i will check it out!

I thought some of the pictures looked real, some were def. coincedinces, and some were fake.

Also you guys should be patient, and try writing a book. It takes time. Also, u don't just have to read about adventure. Hasn't Kiki taught u that yet?

Ghostieness :D

I agree with IrregularKiki, be patient everyone! Writing a book is REALLY hard! Plus, this is Kirsten Miller's FIRST series!! All the other authors that publish their book in half a year or so have DECADES of experience. I know I was getting impatient before, but now I think we should just stop bugging her about it. :3 If you keep bugging Ananka, she just might make the third book the last one

Kiwi: I've read each Kiki Strike book over eight times :3 And they're still awesome

liltomboyblue said...

That's pretty creepy... I think the lady above the kids heads was really weird. And a lot of them were really realistic. :-X

liltomboyblue said...

Oh, and definitely ease up on Kirsten.

I am working on a surprise present for your (very very very late) birthday. ;)

looks like some idiot dressed up to me. anyone read Maya by Jostien Gaarder? Looks a bit like that....

Marie said...

You people should be patient!I tried to write a book recently and I almost died!Anyway,I think everyone that has read Kiki Strike should dress up as her for Halloween and have a look-alike contest!
