Two videos taken by amateurs can be found here. Wow.

  4. it. looks. like. a. triangle.

    ReplyDelete
  5. hmm this does not convince me that didnt really look like anything special in the videos. we need better evidence to convince the public that aliens are real!

    ReplyDelete
  6. hmmm. i liked the part in the video where they all formed a giant dome thingy and exploded!!! hehehe....

  7. That is just plain CREEPY!!!
It looks like some kind of evil metal floating grilled cheese sandwich.

  9. HAAAAAAALLLLLLLEEEEEEE! WE ARE BEING BOMBARDED!!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  10. I"m sure we all appreciate their efforts but the thing looked FAKE. If we are going to convince everybody that aliens are real we need something that looks real. Such as, real alien footage yeah, that might help. Like NASA has! Trust me, there are aliens out there and NASA knows it! They've seen 'em and have footage of 'em and everything. But they're covering it up. GO to UFOHunters.com and type in 'Government cover up' trust me. You'll get some great results. Tell me how it goes!

  11. I always read your posts but I don't usually comment. That digital video was amazing someone must have worked really hard to be able to do that.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Actually, it might be real. I Mean, (being serious) how do know that the aliens didn't make some sort of cloaking device?

    ReplyDelete
  13. This is COMPLETELY random so don't think I'm weird....actually, we're all weird, i Mean, if we weren't none of us would have read K.S., gone on this web. left the comments....... I Forgot what I was going to post just now so I'll just post this. YOU cam label me weird if you want. I'm used to it. I've been labeled as 'weird' since....let me think.....fourth grader. I Also talk to much. Hmmmm, this still seems to be completely random.... so what?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Wait. I remember. When I saw the Sausage of The Future and then the baby pic I went 'Oh god.' what is this world coming to?

    ReplyDelete
  15. taht's a pretty special triangle. I like had you said amateurs, cause if it wasn't real they sure are amateurs with special effect computer things!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yaa... that was preettyy lame.I could probably do that on my phone. It didn't look real, and it "flew" lopsided. They probably just dimmed, or brightened the one triangular area. But the one with the giant robots was wicked.

That, is what I call talent (especially if he didn't have all the fancy shmancy hollywood computer animation stuff)

    Is This A Mini UFO?

One of the things that amuses me most is the lack of imagination people display when it comes to extraterrestrials. More often than not, we depict them as the same size and shape as ourselves. But if aliens exist (and my personal vote is: YES THEY DO), it's unlikely they'd be anything like us. (My personal vote: GIANT BENEVOLENT SLUGS.)

Still, it feels strange to find stories in which the aliens aren't quite what we expect. For instance, this afternoon I came across the photo shown above on the Pink Tentacle blog. The caption said it's a mini-UFO that was captured by a bunch of Japanese kids in 1972. (How mini? It was roughly the size of a hat.)

My first reaction was, "yeah right." But hey, who's to say that we weren't visited by beings so diminutive in stature (really short E.T.s)?

Read the story here and let's hear what you think.

  22. OHMYGOD!!!!!!!! I JUST READ THE LINK THAT KIRA PUT UP AND OH MY GOD!!!!! IF SHE'S SMART SHE WON'T GO TO NEW ZEALAND. GO LAURA!!!!!!! I HOPE YOU ARE SAFE! BEST WISHES! AU REVOIR!

kiki20; Kira beat you to it. What do you mean a bad idea? She disappeared of her own free will! I wonder if she knows she's famous worldwide. It's an interesting thought.....

  27. Kiki21; Hey! I looked at the post to see what the pic again and YOU didn't say anything! You didn't even leave a comment!

There's a Shark in the Swimming Pool!

Seriously, folks, this may be my all time #1 (non-egg related) nightmare . . . I'm in a pool, doing a little backstroke, when a shark appears out of nowhere and eats me. I've always told myself it could never, ever happen. There's simply NO WAY a shark could be waiting for me in the deep end. Nobody's ever come face-to-face with a shark in a swimming pool.

    AND THEN IT HAPPENED!

A reef shark at a resort in the Bahamas (OMG, I WAS JUST IN THE BAHAMAS!) managed to leap out of the aquarium where it was being kept, onto a waterside, and into a swimming pool. Fortunately, no one was swimming in the pool at the time. But can you imagine a full-grown shark coming down the water slide and landing next to you? I'm pretty sure I'd have a heart attack before it could eat me.

Unfortunately, this story doesn't have a happy ending. (Did you really think that it would?) Despite the best efforts of resort employees, the pool's chlorine poisoned the shark before it could be returned to its aquarium. But though the poor thing died, I can assure you all that it will live forever in my nightmares.

  31. My baby brother is the most honest one out of everybody in my family! I made custard last night as a special surprise(none of us had ever had custard and I'm not talkin' frozen, I mean baked.) And everybody(I could tell they hated it but wasn't offended I gagged on the stuff myself. I hate eggs. ugh) they were saying "interesting", different", and "*forced gulp* It's different" and i said that they hated it and they all said the same things again. then i gave my baby brother some and he spat it out. that's when I said "Kieran's (his name) more honest than all of you!"

  32. OMG! I SAW AN ARTICLE ABOUT KRAMPUS IN NATGEO!!!!

  33. that whole thing with Laure Dekker makes me so mad!!!!! The people are being totally sexist and saying she's to young and mot letting her dad take care of her and...it makes me really mad. stupid adults think they know everything and they really don't...well most adults...>:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

  37. P.S. Can anyone believe it? Now she doesn't want to sail! This is what the adults who have major authority do. Crush dreams.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Hi. I know this is off-topic, and I apologize, but this issue has been mentioned before. It's about Laura Dekker:

  41. Nellie; We figured it out(not to be rude!)

    ReplyDelete
  42. yet again this infuriates me!!! they crushed her dream all because she's "too young" if i was her i would have run away and not been found!!!

    ReplyDelete
  43. and they don't let her dad take care of her. a child care person does. if anyones going ot make decsions for her it should be her dad because he knows her strengths and abilities best!!!!!!!!!!! >:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(

    ReplyDelete
  44. I think I shall cry. how very sad:( Laura obviously needs a little bit of help with her escape plans: perhaps someone could find out how to contact Laura so we can help her. I vote we form another organization so we can plot on taking over the world from the evil grownups (sorry Kirsten, u can count as a kid) anyway i'm forming a government system, as we umm, type, and trying to convince my brother that his Soviet/ communist idea won't work so I'll get back to you as soon as I work out the details and eat a candy cane.... and I will know leave you w/someting to ponder
"All animals are created equal.... but some are equaler than others."
First person to tell me what's it's from wins!!!! (and yes, I DO know) Oh, and that won't be a principle for my government

    ReplyDelete
  45. Oh, and one more thing: Happy Holidays!!!! I assume Kirsten is somewhere being happy 'cause she hasn't posted in a while, BYE BYE!!!
ALso, what do you think the chances of me ggetting a llama for christmas are? ireally want one. I'm thinking zero, right??? ah well, perhaps i'll get a candy cane...

    ReplyDelete
  46. MushroomCloud; I'll help you take over the world from evil grownups. I can't believe it! She went to a Caribbean Island. Lucky. How do we figure out how to contact her?

    ReplyDelete
  47. I read the Laure Dekker article just know. I am probably going to repeat what is already said but it makes me mad! She has a guardian and she has noway to leave. They are probably going to make her talk to a lot of psychiatrists to figure out why she ran away. I feel really bad for her.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Laura does need help with her escape plans. She should contact me! I'm the best I know at hiding. One time I curled up inside the drier and wasn't found at all! I had to stay in there for about an hour. Anyway, if I was running away and didn't want to be found trust me I would NOT be found. She can't be very good at hiding can she? And it said that she had 'several bags' you have to travel light! One extra change of clothes, one sleeping bag, some money, and a hefty bag for a poncho! Maybe a book or two. You can put all of that into a backpack! You have to stay inside somewhere during school hours.

P.S. MushroomCloud; was it from George Orwell's Animal Farm? The
"All animals are created equal but some are equaler than others" thing.

    ReplyDelete
  49. MushroomCloud; We can start by boycotting school lunches! If everybody did then the results...... well, have you ever read the Divorce Express? It's a pretty good book and all of the kids boycott their school's lunches and the teachers practically beg them to buy the school lunches meaning tat they were under the kids' power.... under their terms! It was brilliant! Brilliant I tell you! Sounds like a pretty good starting point considering the fact that they're trying to poison us anyway right?

    ReplyDelete
  50. People! Take the poll n this to help Laura Dekker!!!!!

If it doesn't work paste it into your browser bar! Every vote gets Laura closer to her mission!

  51. The whole movie thing Kirsten, please don't print books that say 'Now a Major Motion Picture!' Also make sure it goes to DVD. I don't have one of those Blu-ray things. And make sure the actors and make sure the person who plays Kiki has white hair. Or wears a white wig. And the same eyes! those are her most unique features.... also must be pale. If you get stunped I'll do it!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Forrester wins!!!! YEAH!!!!! and I think we should boycott school lunches. and unfortunately I have no idea how to contact Laura, I'll search it in a second... oh, and I agree about the whole movie thing. my friend was planning on making a movie trailer for it for fun and she cast me as Kiki I think it's cause I'm vertically challenged. oh well.. i've always wanted to be a ninja..

  54. uhhhh kirsten, why aren't you posting if your reading our comments? just wondering... sorry. that was rude. bad (insert name here)!! (i don't know if I can put in my name)

    ReplyDelete
  55. MushroomCloud; Thank you. Will you boycott school lunches too?

P.S. I'm 12 years old and 5 ft. tall. Pitiful.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I'll help you guys take over the world! I'll bring cookies and knives! If you need to I can play a good ananka for kiki movie! Please also don't change your book cover to pictures of the actors! We're begging you!

  58. P.S. We had better move this campaign to the next post!

    ReplyDelete
  59. forrester- dont worry about your height im and only 5 feet tall too lol

    ReplyDelete
  60. I'm in!!! What should we call our boycotting school lunches thing????

    ReplyDelete
  61. Wow! All these postings and talk are so cool. Poor Laura....but at least she got a decent, if not happy, ending. Kirsten? Have you been reading these? What do you think?

    ReplyDelete
  62. gymnast20; Oh thank goodness (I would say god but i don't want to offend anybody)

    ReplyDelete
  63. yes, lets move this too the next post

    ReplyDelete
  64. No no please no...if it is made into a movie it will be utterly ruined!

About Laura Dekker, I think it is really creepy how the government is able to take kids from their parents. I cannot express how utterly creepy that is.

Forrester: I don't think NASA has alien footage. If they ever had any it was lost in their bureauocratic mess. Besides, somebody would have leaked it by now and gotten rich & famous; they don't pay government employees nearly enough.
