Here's a question for you.

Does expecting the unexpected make the unexpected expected?

It sounds like a harder question when I just say it fast out loud lol.

Likewise Miss Kirsten! Have a wonderful 2010!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Now I have to stop writing 09 on all my school projets. :)

Holy cow its a duck on a plain!!!

That duck is my hero now!!!
BTW: Kiki, I do believe that when you expect the unexpected, the expected then gets pushed aside (thereby forgetting about it, and not expecting it) so that you let your guard down about EVERYTHING, making you most vulnerable to the unexpected.

Hi!
I've for many years since reading the first Kiki Strike book have been fascinated by the strongness of Kiki and her companions, and the unusual things you post on a regular basis. I just wanted to stop by and say Happy New Years, and keep up the good work, and I support you 100%! You're one of the most amazing people! Contact me sometime, if you want! :) And I shall continue to check your blogs!

anonymous weekly bloggers; It's from Up! the beginning of that movie made me cry

Reel Dancer said...

i have a question when you make crystal ornaments out of water and borax whats makes the crystals form?...actually it's part of the assignment and i can't find the answer...let alone the paper...

liltomboyblue11;) said...

Alice: I cried too.

The first thing I thought of when I saw the picture was Aflac :) happy new year!!!

The Irregular Girl said...

I believe that crystals form (in general) from the dissolved melocules in the water. They then bind together in a regular form.

Is that helpful? Try Wikipedia or something like that, and you'll get a more scientific answer.

gymnast20 said...

reeldancer- well last year in earth science they told us that crystals on rocks form because of the lava that they are made of cooling and if it cools quick then the crystals are small but if it is over a long time they can be huge. One of the few things i actuallly remember from earth science :) hope it helps you!

Anonymus Weekly Bloggers: HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Loopy Charles Muntz from "Up"! Yess ladies and jellyfish, definately a work of art...when I cry 3 and 1/2 minutes into the movie I know it's good.

Anonymous Weekly Bloggers said...

Congrats to "Alice Cullen" and "EQ" for correctly guessing the movie! {it was Up!} I will now proceed to shower you with cookie points!

And "42," while you were incorrect, you still get credit for weaving a pun into that comment :)

I cry every time I watch Up, I swear...
