A mysterious jelly-like substance has been spotted throughout the British Isles. It looks a little like Jell-o and a lot like snot. But according to the BBC, it's neither substance. (How can they be so sure? Who said it was HUMAN snot?) Anyway, take a look at the pictures
here, and see if you can help our friends across the pond solve their mystery!

Oh. My. Gosh. I have this lakeside cottage in Canada and I found that stuff on the dock one time... it looks like the exact same stuff! It's really actually kinda eerie...
Alien Jell-O! JK
Its fungus. We have that here in Washington but ours is this bright gold yellow. Its some sort of fungus though, thats for sure.
It kinda looks like the stuff that snails leave behind, but in scoops. OMG!!! Giant Snails!!! jk
i think that it is geocanolifily acurate, and is going to halidipenly offerink the universe.
(thats nonsence 4 "OMG!!!!! WHAT IS THAT?)
MAYBE ITS A NEW SPECIES OF AMINAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i wonder if it tastes good......................
Hm. looks a bit like agar.
Well, if it looks like snot and they're having trouble identifying it, it must be the remains of a Bigfoot with a cold!
It's jellyfish that were picked up by a waterspout and flown over land and then dropped!
...probably not. My guess is fungus of some kind, but I trust the scientists to figure it out for sure.
That reminds me of one scene in Ghostbusters, stuff that looks just like that is left behind from a ghost in a library. Except in the movie it was extoplasmic ghost stuff or whatever...
hmm, i'm thinking ALIEN SNOT!!! whoot!
These scientists are being silly, we all know that its snot from the Loch Ness monster... obviously! :-P
Erm... Uh... Aliens at it again? ^^' Or it could be - *GASP* ... ... ... nvm idk [lolz]
maybe a washed up jellyfish, or mould???
It is definatly GIANT MONSTER SNOT! ROFL
That looks like pollution I often see in the creak by my house. It also (some of it) looks like sea foam. The rest of it looks like some form of Fungi.
well its obvious. either its an unknown breed of giant snail or slug that is nocturnal, only to the extreme extent, like vampires. or a giant toad breed. or bug. or frog. or fish. ok, i dont know.
Maybe fungus, but I've seen it before in Colorado. Actually I stepped in it..haha it took forever to get it off. I didn't know what it was so I used gloves. It smells funky, and looks gooey. I just hope it is JUST fungus.
