It's funny that I should come across this video today. Just last night, I was forced to admit that I have eaten squirrel. (My apologies, vegetarians.) No, I wasn't lost in the wilderness or hiding out from the law. I was sitting in a nicely decorated kitchen, surrounded by the family of a well-respected doctor.
How did it taste? Let's just say that my mouth doesn't exactly water when I watch the squirrels scamper around Washington Square Park. But I remain a firm believer in trying new and different foods. And, in my humble opinion, anyone who automatically sticks up their nose at a "squirrel melt" is missing a golden opportunity.

ok, call me weird, but I would love to try that! I came really close to eating one once... I wont go in to the story but I wish I could have tasted it ;) I love trying new foods

... I Think they look nice... But I like my dinner perfectly fine...You've eaten alligator Spiffy? I've eaten cicadas!!! Plus snake and turtle soup! It tasted sorta like chicken broth... Plus fried silkworms! Mmm... Crunchy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside... China has the strangest food in the world!

Down here is the South people eat squirrels all the time I think that they taste okay but can't eat them because I know just how cute they look -Nina-
my family has a recipe for woodchuck. we have never tried it, proboly because were in the word would you find a woodchuck? unless you house is right nextdoor to a forest i have a felling you wouln't find one.

Michele: Yes, I did. I was living pretty close to the towers at the time. And I worked on the 40th floor of a skyscraper, so I saw the whole thing from my office window. Very, very sad.

I just watched a video on it and it almost made me cry.
When I went to NYC this summer I saw the big hole where the Twin Towers were. It was really sad. We also went to the church right across the street and saw memorials and pictures from the attack and all of the volunteer effort. It was really incredible. The church worked as a hospital, place of worship, place to stay, and restraunt. The people who worked there were amazing. I'll try to find link to the churchs website. (sorry this post is a little late)
It was very intresting(I'd eat it if it was put in front of me), but I hate how everyone's coments (on youtube) were all like "how can some one eat a squirrel?!"
It's the same thing as eating beef, chicken, pork, deer, or whatever, the only thing is squirrels are cuter other than that, it's meat.
