    ReplyDelete
  6. Oh THANK YOU Kirsten!

    ReplyDelete
  7. Hey Kirsten speaking of the sailor girl have you read about her lately? She ran away to the Carribean!!!

She took a plane, even though I think she should have taken her sailboat. To add on to the drama.

  9. Kirsten, you are amazing.

You write awesome books, you'll sign stuff, you'll send messages to sailer girls via facebook (... wait... Laura's your friend on facebook?? Cool), and you're just plain awesome. ;)

Ya, I just felt the need to point that out. =)

I kinda feel bad for the sailor girl.
I would be really stressed if everyone was like talking about me.
... though i'd probably run to Europe instead. Do some sightseeing... XD

    ReplyDelete
  10. Forrester- Would it really be a raggge?? What about a
conflict? Or a small uprising? Not all adults
    are mean, or whatever. =)

  17. Hello, dahhhlings!
Kirsten dearie, I am so sorry but I accidentally drew a horrid picture of you for Spanish class. I was supposed to write 3 sentences in spanish about someone we admire (everyone except me did family members...) and I wrote sentences about you. I am not sure that if you are blonde or not, but I wrote you were. I then wrote you were popular, nice, patient, and generous. We also had to draw pictures, but guessed so I would't have to email you and possibly give up your visual alias. i don't know sometimes...
To make up for it, I am working on some pretty marvelous colored pencil drawings of the Irregulars. I have Ananka down, I am restarting Oona (For maybe the fifth time but the rest will be hard. I will persevere, though, and I still have a bit of time 'till school comes back up!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Would anybody like to have an online irregulars group via Yahoo groups or something so we could boycott school lunches and help that sail boat girl (what's her name???)
email me with answer (actually email kikistrike@gmail and kirsten will forward the email to me**) or just comment back here!! Sorry for the loooonnngg post

(**Changed by Kirsten. Hope that's OK, MI.)

    ReplyDelete
  19. Montana Irregulars: I sent you an email. Let me know if you don't get it.

Anna: I'm flattered that you chose to draw me! And it's true . . . I am popular, nice, patient, and generous. Heh heh.

    Kiwi: Aww. Thank you!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Wow has this post suddenly become a "compliment kirsten & get her autograph" party? OOHH!!! Can I join in on the fun?
Kirsten your books are incredible, my favorites actually, and this blog keeps me going on days of monoteny (I don't think I spelled that right). Yay!

    ReplyDelete
  21. P.S. Oh!!! Can I join the rebellion as well? It'll be one big irregulars party....I don't have any special skills, but I could just be there for moral support!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Kira: Oh, I love the praise! If you want an autograph, send me a note at kikistrike@gmail.com

    ReplyDelete
  23. Hey Peoples!

I'll try to start a group, but I'm not exactly a "tech wiz" so If someone comes in with a mini fridge instead of a group. I'm Sorry.... XD. I'll comment later for the website for the group if I can.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Actually, DONT USE THAT LINK! For some reason DangerousGroup isn't showing on the search link. So use THIS link instead:

    ReplyDelete
  27. Plus you're one of the few adults I know who take our opinions seriously!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I guess I missed the whole "rage against adults thing." Would anyone mind explaining? Sounds like something I'd join. {notice my shameless self advertising as I tell you to see my blog and discover a fraction of my anger! http://tokeepyourinsanity.blogspot.com/2009/12/why-adults-are-not-so-superior-to.html }

  29. Hello! Well Kirsten, I sent you a request on Facebook, just so you know, along with a question. Is it true a third Kiki Strike book is coming out? If so, what is the release date and what is it called? Thanks so much!

Micci; It's a time change thing. If it's Five o'clock in MO it's six o' clock in Virginia.

    ReplyDelete
  33. if we can set up a meeting, I can try to bring some poisoned bon-bons!
    but what IS a bon-bon???
I can also bring some knives to play with, and maybe we can make modern art with smashed objects such as small toasters!!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Wait... your name is Kirsten, not Kristen? Ohhh... I guess I didn't look at that closely enough... Whoops! Ah! Christmas is in two days and I still haven't wrapped any presents! Where's Santa's elves when you need them?

    ReplyDelete
  35. AmberStarGem: Is there any way you can get people the info about the group without posting your personal email? I would feel weird having it displayed in public for anyone to read.

Forrester, MI & Others: Anyone who wants my autograph can send me a note. And I will post my note to Laura on this blog as soon as I have a chance to write it.

Something Dangerous: Thanks! Of course I take your opinions seriously. You guys are all geniuses.

    ReplyDelete
  36. montana irregulars; Sure!

Anonymous weekly blogger; See, the dutch government didn't let Laura go on her sailing trip and the public school food sucks so we're all rebelling starting by boycotting school lunches. EVERYBODY'S WELCOME!!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. i'd like to join!! Hey kirsten can i have your autograph? :)

    ReplyDelete
  38. thats near my house!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. THANK YOU!!!!!! so much Kirsten for saying you will tell LAura!!!!! Question: is there any possibility we will get in major trouble for this??? cause if there is, remember to deny everything and possibly delete all your potting posts. just in case. Oh, and I had a dream last night about the Irregulars and the white house and it was funny!!! i jst can't remember it, i think they were sneaking into the oval office to see how oval like it was.

    ReplyDelete
  43. and about the time difference: every 15 degrees long. is 1 hour diff. so u could be in the US and still be at 4:00 when Kirsten posts at 6. I learned that in science.. remarkable I remember (i usually forget right after I do well on the test... not being arrogant but I don't forget if I d badly which I suppose is kinda rare....)

    ReplyDelete
  44. Ok rages are fine. =)

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  48. Kiwi: But she is form europe. that really wouldn't make sense 2 go sight seeing in a place that u already are. and if she sails, then she probably has visited most of the important sights.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Too everyone intersted in a online irregulars group email Kristen and she will email it to me!! I am really exited if this works!! I would love to make a yahoo group too! If you guys want I mean. Maybe it could be a group thing!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Ok the internet here isn't working too well so I didn't get too read all the stuff about Laura. I'll join the rage group or whatever, but I want to know more about it. Can someone post something?

  69. FORRESTER @ 8:51 IS AN IMPOSTOR!!!! WE HAVE AN IMPOSTOR GOING AROUND!!!! SHE/ HE? COPIED MY SCREEN NAME!!! YOU'D BETTER QUIT! I'M USING MY ACCOUNT NAME WHICH I HATE 'CAUSE IT USUALLY NEVER WORKS!! DO NOT LISTEN TO THAT POST!! I WOULD NEVER SAY THAT!!!!

P.S NO ONE NEEDS PERMISSION TO JOIN!! JUST PUT 'I'M IN!' OKAY?

IMPOSTORS HAVE ALMOST TRASHED THIS BLOGS REP.!!!!

THIS IS THE REAL FORRESTER!!!! ME AND MushroomCloud started this rebellion and I will NOT stop until someone threatens to murder.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Oops. Sorry. I read wrong. I meant Forrester @ 8:59 is the impostor!!!!!!

  71. SAY WHAT????? omgomgomgomg!!!! your 3rd book is gonna come at soon?! yayayayayayayayay!!!!!!!!! im so STIKED! (yes stiked its my word peoplezzz haha XD) wohoot! merry christmas EVERYBODY!!!!
    -LD

    ReplyDelete
  72. Hmm. I see everybody's asking questions about this plan. Here are your answers. Okay, me and MushroomCloud thought it up. We're starting simple. First order of business is to boycott school lunches. If EVERYBODY does it, trust me, it'll have a good(for us) effect. They'll have to give us better food eventually if they want the same amount of money. They need that money. :) Enough to come to our terms.

    Just two rules.
    1. Do NOT tell that you got this idea from this blog.

    2.No murder.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Forrester: I'm glad that wasn't you: I thought perhaps you had been hit over the head!

WHAT ARE YOU GUYS THINKING!!!!??????? Of COURSE you can join. I mean, we can't do this w/o u guys.

10 secs. I'm going to have a moment of oddness: some day we'll look back at this and either go "wow, this is how it all started" or "wow, what did we do wrong?"

so people, lets make it the first option. Oh, btw, we probably shouldn't start dividing up the world yet: lets first figure out HOW to get control. So after that spark of inspirationalness, I'm going to go read the next post. BYE!

    ReplyDelete
  74. MushroomCloud; Like I said, we should start simple by boycotting school lunches and plan it as we go along.
Everybody feel free to toss in ideas!

    ReplyDelete
  75. MushroomCloud; If I EVER say something like that, hunt me down and hit me on the head with a baseball bat.

    ReplyDelete
  76. GMAIL ROCKS!!!!

    thats all im gonna say.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Forrester: well, we do kinda need adults. Otherwise we'd have to force poor innocent (more or less) fellow kids to do the boring jobs grownups are supposed to do. Bureauocracy, banking, insurance, accounting, government...and the gross ones like sewer cleaning, etc.
Also I don't see any fake Forrester at 8:59, what exactly did it say?

    ReplyDelete
  78. Delayed reaction... I'm into this yahoo group idea.

    ReplyDelete
  79. EQ; Nope. When we rule the world those jobs will be illegal! Well, maybe not. But WE won't do them.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Forrester...ever seen inside a sewer? It's bad enough already that I personally would think twice before exploring one in search of secrets. I don't want to think about if they weren't cleaned. (and actually, I have my doubts whether they are.)

And if there were no adults, who would make such awsome gadgets as this? :

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/1559579/Physicists-have-solved-mystery-of-levitation.html

    ...to name just one.

Anna: a bonbon is this little dessert thing that is basically a little ball of ice cream dipped in chocolate, which is really hard to do because if you aren't fast enough the ice cream melts, so you have to freeze it harder than normal and dip it in the melted chocolate really quickly and get it back in a freezer. But they taste good.
