You Can't Tell Me These Are HUMAN

Archaeologists working deep in the forests Siberia of recently dug up a number of skeletons with oddly shaped skulls. Similar elongated skulls have been discovered in Peru, Mexico, Egypt and the sites of other ancient cultures. The "most reasonable" explanation is that these cultures all used simple tools to reshape their infants' skulls.

But I wonder. Is it simpler to believe that all these cultures shared the same odd practice--or that the skeletons belong to something other than humans?

  5. Do you people realize you're talking crazy? They're obviously the skulls of aliens when they took over the civilaztions! They used the people as servants, so the servants fought back and won! They have the skulls to remember the victory of Little Tulet of the Kaniti Tribe when she single-handedly kicked some alien-butt!(And, the skulls made good decorative rocks.) This theory is insane, but it. No, I do not have an explanation. If I did, I would have to be a genius. Now, can't we just say that Tulet is amazing and move on with our lives!)

  10. Wow. I'm going to say that it is probally not human. Mabey it's an ancestor of a human? Like Lucy is? They evolved that way, and then discovered that having a cone shaped head really isn't all that great for balance, and died out. Who knows?

To people who think it looks like the Indiana Jones skull: Mabey they based the movie scull off of this one.

    Yeah, Indiana Jones for sure...

I wonder if they could run some sorts of DNA tests on those??(or are they too old? I don't know much about that stuff) That would be cool....and what would the results look like if they're not human?

  14. I read that people in the Amazon put boards on their kids' heads to make them the shape of jaguar heads. And hung stuff between their eyes so they'd be cross-eyed. All because it was 'attractive'. Gag.

  15. People hundreds of years from now might think that plastic surgury is sick, so don't blame them. they probably thought it would make their babies smarter. People used to shove little girls feet in certain wraps just so their feet would be small, which was attractive at that time. this is assuming they are humans, of course. ;)

  16. Since when did these people have cheese posing as brains? Duh, you don't HAVE to be fashionable. It's like asking someone: "So let me get this straight? I can break into any building I please, I can wrestle you down to the ground in seconds, I can even catch crooks. But that dosen't matter as long as I have a giant skull?" Cause, face it, I don't want people deforming me! I can put my legs behind my head all on my own! I don't need strange-looking body parts to join the circus, you know.

  22. Patsee: while the kid is still young they tie two boards onto the top and bottom of the head because at that point, the skull is still pliable.

  26. Espionage: I know, but it's really really long. I know you can flatten out your forehead by tying boards to it, but this seems like a lot more than that.

  32. Yeah, there are the flat head indians who tied rocks to their babis heads so that they would be flat (hence the name.) I don't actually know their name for themselves, but I have heard a lot about them. Didn't the guy in the video talk about extended brain capabilities? Like predicting the weather and stuff.

  33. ok so in social studies class, we were learning about latin american civilizations..so when a baby was an infant, they would put a rock against their skull and since the babys head wasnt fully formed yet it would make their head...umm i dunno what word to say, longer? but ya the mayans thought that it made them "beautiful" Jin Ai: i agree with you they had some crazy thoughts about beautifulism!! so ya just thought u guys might want to know that...
