According to Cryptomundo, the photo shown above is the talk of countless French and Spanish-speaking blogs. It was taken in Argentina by a man named Fabian Romano, and it shows what some believe to be a strange bird-like creature. Or, as the curator of the Provincial Museum put it, “a carnivorous mammal with wings, an unknown species.”
Supposedly there are more pictures of the creature. (If so, I can't find them online.) And there may be other eyewitnesses. The experts at Cryptomundo remain skeptical, of course. (How, they ask, can anyone know it's carnivorous by simply examining a blurry photo?)

ReplyDeleteREAL!!

Looks kind of like a flying lizard thingy or a giant mosquito.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a dinosaur. Photoshop?
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a rubber monkey!
ReplyDeleteI believe it's just a toy in a blurred picture.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what to think of this.
ReplyDeleteIrregular Kiki: It might be. Monkeys do have thin, long arms.
But then again, humming birds don't have legs right? O-o
ReplyDeleteI think it's some sorta humming bird thingy... See the wings beating really fast?
ReplyDeletepsh. its so blurry you couldnt even tell if it was a hellicopter...

ReplyDeleteAs to what it may be, i'm not sure. I a lot like a dinosaur.
It looks like a stuffed monkey hanging from the nose of a plane.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of a wasp... kind of... but it could always be a man-eating flying crocodile bird that lives in public toilets. You never know. :D

ReplyDeleteI have no idea what that is...it has a duck's bill, frogs legs, and it DOES resemble a flying monkey! But really, do we have to know what it is? Can't it just be a mystery? Something to puzzle over...Puzzle it while you can, the "experts" will probably tell us what it is soon.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like one of those toy monkeys that you get at gift shops and have velcro on their hands that a toddler threw out the window.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous 1: Actually, your answer is probably the most realistic. (not the photoshop part though) Birds are the clostest to the make up of dinasours than any other animals. It is believed that when the meteor hit earth 1.7 billion years ago, and the sky filled with debris, blocking the sun, the earths temperature droppped catastrofically, bird-like dinasours, animals that could bury themselves in the ground, and some aquatic animals are said to be the few that survived. Birds skeletal frames are very similar to dinosaurs, so it makes sense that some undiscovered (or new) species may resemble one.
ReplyDeletetotally unrelated: It turns out that whales can live to be about 150. Scientist, while examining a whale that washed up on the shore, found spears imbeded in the whale from about 150 years before they found it. In other words, the whales outlive us. :) and some species of turtles do too.
Its my sock Monkey I lost it XDDD
