Frightening or Fashionable: You Be the Judge!





Supposedly, "goggle jackets" are the latest thing in the UK. (Though the minute newspapers pick up on these things, the trends are usually over.) They're jackets or hoodies that zip up all the way over the head. Goggles sewn into the fabric allow the wearer to see where he or she's going.

A lot of people think these garments are intimidating. Others find them functional. I think they might be great if you're riding your bike in the rain, but not so great if you're making a deposit at the bank. Any thoughts?

    they're kind of cool looking, i guess, just deffinetly not my style. would'nt having a zipper over your face be uncomfortable?

    Frightening! It makes them look like swamp creatures/hoodlums. I mean, I like the jacket itself - just not the zip-up-all-the-way-to-the-top thing.

    And it would be incredibly difficult to put on. More so than a wetsuit!

    Wow....yes I have seen someone in one of those. He sort of was suddenly behind me and it almost made me jump 50 feet. Very disturbing actually.

    My friend has a jacket like that. He wore it for halloween. The hood had a shark mouth.

    I know that this is completly off topic.... but thanks for posting the thind on the Saphire and having links to the Hope Dianomd I'm doing a Project on daimonds and I don't think anyone will put THAT on thier project. I feel so special ^-^
