What Should You Do With Your Old Books?

Artist Nick Georgiou creates these amazing sculptures out of newspapers and books and puts them in public places. I'd love to have one crafted out of gently-worn copies of Kiki Strike.

  4. Weird, I just give mine to that used teenage shop for money down the street.

And, of course the sculpture out of Kiki Strike Books, be either Kiki, the Irregulars, or the irregular symbol.

  7. those ares surreal.

    very cool.

    but also very unreal looking.

now i hope to come across one.

but that does not seem likely, unfortunately for me.

but really, do they not look totally. . . bizarre?

  8. I'd like one of those! But...I can't handle books being turned into those (unless they were truly destroyed.)

  9. If it's in good enough shape to make a sculpture out of, it's in good enough shape to read.

haha in the last photo, the sculpture peeking around the corner sort of looks like a scruffy dog if you don't look too close!
