Window Farms

(Above: A Window farm and some cool street art. Photo by Britta & Rebecca)

One of the only things I've always hated about living in asphalt-covered New York City is that I haven't been able to grow my own special garden. Now, thanks to the geniuses behind windowfarms.org, I can! So everyone better be PRETTY DARN NICE to me from now on. (JK. Or am I?)

  3. Yes, Miss. Fishbein. Of course, Miss. Fishbein. Whatever you say, Miss. Fishbein.

That is a pretty nifty idea. Very useful for cities. (Or hiding it in your room where you don't want your mom to see.)

  16. wow, that's some pretty sweet plants. I like the city, a lot! Probably cuz i've lived in the country my whole life! I don't think my mom would allow me to grow something like that, though! Even if I lived in the city.

  17. kiki21 & Mushroomcloud: I don't care who did it first. Memento Mori = Latin for "Remember, you will die." Or, in the words of the cake. 'I'm Gonna Get You...' bah bah bummm

  22. Really innovative. I wonder if the air in New York would be less toxic if like every residence would have a garden. Or maybe the polution would kill the gardens. Hmm...

  23. where did the shadow city store disappear to? :( :O :C :0

  24. A handy place to store all your wicked plants! XD

P.S. Any progress with Kiki 3? As an amature writer myself, I know these things take time, but as a reader I can't help being rather anxious for the next one!

  27. u better have a good excuse 4 this young lady!(how often i hear that) but seriously, r u dead? that would b a bummer, I am practically a dried out hull from lack of wierdness! ive been reading old posts!

  28. Mushroom Cloud: Totally. I've resorted to googling 'weird' just to get my fix. *sigh* It just doesn't work. -_-

  29. Lucy Myster: Okay. I took the same oath.

  30. Kiki21: I say (tis is one of my many convoluted logic techniques)flip a coin, and if you feel disappointed, go with the other one. (Tell me if this works.)

    ReplyDelete
  31. Kiki21: I faced the same problem not too long ago. What I did was I looked for negative points for each and then sat down with the positives and the negatives and gave "points" to each school--+1 point for the positives, -1 point for the negatives. Whichever had the most points at the end was the one I went to. And after I did that, I promised myself that I wouldn't think about the decision anymore, and that it was a done deal. Of course, everyone's different, so that might not work for you. Hope that helped?
