been watching the news for the weekend. live on texas' coast. no rain so far! want to know contest!! i've read city of ember REALLY good! btw, i wrote about kiki strike in my poem for english
happy bday kaitlin! i saw that the hurricane was named Gustav and laughed for 5 minutes. that is a horrible name hahaha! poor people who live on the coast though.
Oooo, I was just thinking about the fact that ifthere are some Louisanan and Gulf Coast readers of this bog may miss out on the cotest. It's so sad for them(with the huricane and all). We can all wait and be patient :)
i live in louisiana and everyone is doing ok. we will be without power for a while though. there is some damage but minimal. thanks for your concern. btw happy b-day kaitlin and i will read the city of ember since everyone is saying its really good!

And I just read a good book that is kind of related to underground cities! It's called "City of Ember".

My favorite underground city book is "This Time of Darkness" by H M Hoover. I's a bit nastier than City of Ember though.
