No Contest Announcement Today





I was planning to announce the latest contest this morning, but I think we would all be better off watching the news. Best wishes to the people of Louisiana and the Gulf Coast!

    That picture reminds me of a book I'm reading. It's called "Life as we knew it" .

    And I just read a good book that is kind of related to underground cities! It's called "City of Ember".

    read them both. now. lol

  13. happy bday kaitlin! i saw that the hurricane was named Gustav and laughed for 5 minutes. that is a horrible name hahaha! poor people who live on the coast though.

  19. My favorite underground city book is "This Time of Darkness" by H M Hoover. I's a bit nastier than City of Ember though.

    It's so sad for them(with the huricane and all).

  24. i live in louisiana and everyone is doing ok. we will be without power for a while though. there is some damage but minimal. thanks for your concern.
