Here's the Plan

Didn't know we had a plan, eh? Well we do. Unless someone objects, for the next six days, I will be posting the award-winning stories from the Tales of Adventure contest!

During this time, I shall be visiting beautiful Austin, Texas--the second greatest place on Earth!

And I just found out . . . the Shadow City Store is OPEN FOR BUSINESS!

  1. I love them- but I can only see the Fille Fiable one- how can I get to the other ones?

  5. I didn't know we had a plan. Hmmmmm now I do. Have fun in Austin and I hope I wasn't bugging you to much about the shirts!

  6. Are you kidding? No bother at all!

  7. Oh, i MUST have the Kiki shirt -- i have a black Vespa, too!! Quick question: Are they adult women's shirts, or men's/unisex shirts?

  8. Oh, duh! Ignore my previous question: It just dawned on me that there's a youth large. I'm so used to having to compromise by buying a men's small that it took me a few minutes to notice that there actually IS a shirt in my size for a change. Yay!!

Also, LOVE the shirts! I'll be getting myself a F.F AND a Kiki Strike! I can only get four shirts from an online site and I'm already getting 2 from Scott Westerfeld's shoppe.

    Posters? Good idea!

  25. OMG!!! I HAVE GOT TO GET ONE!!!

  26. I once read Wuthering Heights from cover to cover while I was trapped on the subway! I had read it once before and hadn't liked it all that much. But the second time, I LOVED it. Let it rest for a year or two and then pick it up again.

And Spring, I'm checking out your blog!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Which blog? I have like 4 sites.. I think.

    ReplyDelete
  28. you're kiding, ananka. I guess the subway enlightens us. lol. thanx 4 the advice, i promised myself I'd read it be4 I graduate from 8th gr. nxt year, just so i can rub it in my english teachers face. he basically said I was too stupid too read a classic! can u believe that? I'm no einstein, but reading is my strong point. so now i'm running the newspaper and i ignore him completely instead of being a kiss up like usual. the goody too shoes is wearing thin in my view. catcha l8r.
ps. all of us irregulars should revolt against our english teachers. today, mine told me that my kiki strike essay gave away the plot! that was so not true, i'll e-mail it to u, you'll agree with me! i wish kiki could give him a piece of her mind(or iris and oona!) wat does HE know about you or the shadow city anyway? hmph!

    ReplyDelete
  29. i forgot, ananka, read THE MYSTERIOUS BENEDICT SOCIETY. it's really good. tell me wat u think.
(i think constance contraire should meet kiki! after u read it, u'll c wat i mean!)

    ReplyDelete
  30. Thanks for the tip. I will check out the Mysterious Benedict Society. I've heard good things, and I'm looking for a book right now!

Also, don't worry about those teachers. We know how to find them. ;)

(When did so many teachers get so mean? Too dumb to read a classic? That's CRAZY.)

  31. Hmm...
Actually, I LOVE my English teacher. She is wicked nice-and puts together afterschool drama club for us overly dramatic peoples.
But I would be glad to help you give yours a scare!

  32. IM, you truly are a mastermind. i have a feeling you could do great and terrible things to my english teacher. we would be great friends, you and i, believe me. o and u are so lucky! drama classes after english, u r officially living my life. i love being over dramatic and funny. today a dead bug was on my shirt, and i screamed for at least 5 minutes until i shook it off finally! 4 the rest of the day people were imitating me. if some one had a camera, i would be on utube by now. thank god they didn't... i'll never live this down.
    *sob*
