What I'm Reading Now . . .

The fabulous Miss Erin has tagged me for a "What Are You Reading" meme. Here goes . . .

Just Finished: We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson.
Recently reissued with a FANTASTIC cover. (I'm a sucker for good art direction.) Dark and disturbing in all the right ways.

Just Started: The Yiddish Policemen's Union by Michael Chabon
I'll admit it. I once admired Mr. Chabon's photo as much as I enjoyed his books. My crush has faded (I think), but I remain a loyal reader. My favorite (probably a controversial choice in the Michael Chabon reading community) is The Mysteries of Pittsburgh.

Still Reading: The Bhagavad Gita and the National Enquirer
Research for an upcoming project. (heehee)

be sure to give a full report! i hope you enjoy them; i just finished "Skin" by Tedd Deckker, it's a big ugly vs. beauty, good vs. evil book (true to most of Dekker's books)

what year is The Empress Tomb set in? in Shadow City your adventure took a couple years and i was wondering if the next one was a prequel, or follows in trilogy?

sorry for all the comments, but what month did you post on the next book, or what was the title of the post, becasue i can't seem to find it. i went away over spring break then had crew and a lot of school work so i missed quite a bit, trying to catch up...

Hey Theatre,

Love all the comments. It's really great to see you back. (3 hours of crew a day? Very impressive.)

The Empress's Tomb picks up right where the first book left off.

I haven't posted on ET yet . . . but I will very soon! (Maybe even tomorrow?)

hey Ananka, for your profile pic, once ET comes out what are you going to do? OH, oops i spelled Ted Dekker wrong...

That's a very good question. Maybe I'll figure out how to have the profile flip back and forth between the two books. Unless you have a better suggestion . . .

Good detective work, by the way!
